Stories
Each community member, in each province, has a climate story to tell. Youth are currently collecting these stories, and will be drawing on a range of creative techniques to share these with wider audiences. Photographs, stories and other outputs will be shared in a travelling exhibition
2020-Vision: understanding climate (in)action through the emotional lens of loss. Lisa Jones, Florence Halstead, Katie J. Parsons, Hue Le, Ly Thi Ha Bui, Christopher R. Hackney and Daniel R. Parsons Journal of the British Academy 2021
Follow Sa, our storytelling kingfisher who takes you for a ride along the Red River to tell you all about the project and what the youth have been working on.
In collaboration with in country partners and the project youth, we are creating an innovative water/dry puppetry performance that tells the collective stories of all three provinces. Drawing upon each localities traditional story telling methods, this performance will be presented to local stakeholders, and recorded for wider engagement.
